Electrical engineering for mining - Motors
Heavy working conditions

Electric motors type 3KTCP and 4KTCP are suitable for heavy working conditions in coal mines. The motors has strenghtened mechanical construction and very good electrical characteristic

  • Welded enclosure
  • Able to work even filled up with coal
  • TEFC - totaly enclosed fan cooling
  • Fed by frequency converter with forced ventilation
  • Design to be switch on and off frequently
  • Ratio betwen starting current and normal current is < 5
  • Ratio betwen starting torque and normal torque is > 2
  • Voltage: 380-1140V; 50Hz
  • Power: 22 – 200 kW
  • Standard speed: 2 poles (2980min-1), 4 poles (1480min-1) (other speeds on request)
